Position: Senior Survey Project Manager

Location: Charlotte, NC

Compensation: $85,000/year

Experience Required: At least 7 years in construction surveying; a minimum of 3 years in project management; proficiency in AutoDesk Civil3D Software is essential.

Educational Background: Associates or Bachelor's degree in land surveying, civil engineering, or a related discipline is preferred but not mandatory; Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license in NC or SC is a plus but not required.

Employment Type: Full-time; Direct Hire

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, Day Shift

Company Overview: Greene Resources is on the lookout for a Senior Survey Project Manager to become part of our expanding and innovative team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage a variety of construction surveying projects from inception to completion, ensuring all deliverables are met within the specified timeline and budget.
  • Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and project teams to formulate project plans, budgets, and schedules.
  • Participate in networking events and client meetings to foster business development in the Charlotte area.
  • Track project advancement and provide consistent updates to clients and stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and specifications in surveying work.
  • Manage project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to achieve project objectives.
  • Facilitate communication and coordination with other project teams, including contractors, architects, engineers, and stakeholders.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to assess project progress, identify potential challenges, and ensure adherence to safety regulations.
  • Review and validate project documentation, including survey reports, drawings, and plans.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff members, including surveyors and field crews.

Position Requirements:

  • Exceptional organizational, project management, and communication abilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the capacity to build and maintain robust relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
  • Familiarity with land surveying software, including AutoCAD and Trimble Business Center.
  • Proven capability to manage multiple projects concurrently and prioritize competing demands.
  • A valid driver's license is required.
