This position is for their Charlotte office and involves managing land surveying initiatives to guarantee timely, budget-friendly, and satisfactory outcomes. The Lead Survey Project Coordinator will work closely with our team, including surveyors, engineers, and administrative staff, playing a crucial role in project implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee multiple construction surveying projects from start to finish, ensuring adherence to deadlines and budgets.
  • Formulate project plans, budgets, and timelines in collaboration with clients and project teams.
  • Track project progress and relay updates to clients and stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and specifications.
  • Coordinate with contractors, architects, engineers, and other involved parties.
  • Conduct site visits for monitoring progress and ensuring safety compliance.
  • Review and authorize project documentation.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

Qualifications:

  • Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license in SC.
  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree in land surveying or civil engineering.
  • At least 10 years of experience in land surveying, with a minimum of 5 years in project management.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in project management software and land surveying tools.
  • Capability to manage multiple projects and foster strong relationships.
