MJHS, a 705-bed rehabilitation and nursing care facility in Washington Heights, Northern Manhattan, seeks a Clinical Program Coordinator to support health and independence for individuals needing short-stay or long-term inpatient care.

Job Overview

The successful candidate will interface with managed care representatives regarding levels of reimbursement, determine payer coverage for admissions, readmissions, and hospital returns, and demonstrate expertise in Medicare coverage requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and ensure the timeliness and accuracy of resident assessment processes and documentation

This role requires a registered nurse with four years of experience in a long-term care facility, including supervisory experience. A BSN degree is required, and PRI Assessor Certification and RAC-CT Certification are preferred.
