About the Role

The Relationship Banker plays a crucial role in helping clients achieve financial well-being by building deep customer relationships and providing thoughtful solutions to their needs. This position requires a strong understanding of personal and business financial products and services, as well as excellent sales and service skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and Develop Customer Relationships: Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients through active market profiling, needs-based questioning, and providing tailored solutions to help them achieve their financial goals.
  • Provide Financial Wellness Reviews: Conduct quality financial wellness reviews to identify client needs, make recommendations, and follow up to ensure clients are satisfied with the solutions provided.
  • Originate Loans and Offer Financial Solutions: Originate simple to complex consumer lending and provide cash management solutions, such as treasury management and merchant services, payroll, and ACH.
  • Cross-Sell Bank Services: Identify opportunities to cross-sell other bank services and refer clients to other departments as appropriate.
  • Comply with Bank Regulations: Demonstrate compliance with all bank regulations that apply to this position and stay up-to-date on regulatory changes.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or GED required.
  • Experience: 2-4 years of banking and/or demonstrated sales experience.
  • Skills: Foundational knowledge of sales and service techniques, basic understanding of personal finances and budgeting, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Additional Requirements: Must have access to reliable transportation to facilitate travel outside of the branches, including outside sales calls.
