Role Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Management: Collaborate with the General Manager to inspire and engage kitchen staff, fostering a positive work environment.
  • Kitchen Oversight: Maintain an organized kitchen operation, ensuring compliance with safety and sanitation protocols. Act as a role model for culinary practices.
  • Food Quality Assurance: Ensure high standards of food quality and presentation across all service channels.
  • Inventory Control: Manage inventory processes, ensuring accuracy and adherence to food safety standards.
  • Team Development: Assist in the recruitment, training, and performance management of kitchen staff.
  • Safety Compliance: Oversee food safety practices and maintain sanitation standards within the kitchen.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in kitchen management or back-of-house operations.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 50lbs and stand for extended periods.
  • Food Safety Certification is required.
