MRI Technologist, PRN, Cancer Center

UT Southwestern Medical Center is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist, PRN, to join our team at Simmons Comprehensive Cancer Center. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing MRI procedures, ensuring patient safety, and providing exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities- Review physician orders for accuracy and completeness
- Screen patients for MRI appropriateness and review contraindications
- Discuss findings with physicists and radiologists as applicable
- Administer intravenous injections of contrast material as needed
- Perform MRI procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort
- Document changes and modifications to MRI protocols
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure smooth workflow and patient care
- ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Two years of MRI experience preferred
