Logistics Solutions Representative
Job Summary:The Logistics Solutions Representative plays a pivotal role in driving business growth by developing and securing a carrier base to build capacity and provide solutions to customers. This role requires excellent customer relationship management skills, with a focus on daily engagement to maximize business potential.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and manage a network of third-party carriers to execute customer orders, securing freight capacity and tracking loads as needed.
- Book and appoint loads tendered from customers, handle customer service-related duties, and foster excellent customer relations by promptly responding to customer issues or requests.
- Solicit new sales by developing leads and cold calling potential customers, marketing and promoting J.B. Hunt's service solutions.
- Establish and maintain a book of business through daily customer engagement activities, including customer calls, emails, and other interactions.
- Partner with internal teams to promote best-in-class service, ensure safety, and adhere to operational SOPs and processes.
- Understand and contribute to individual and team-level profit and productivity metrics, remaining current on supply chain information to gain insight into market trends.
- High School Diploma/GED with up to 1 year of experience in transportation/logistics, business administration, account management, and/or equivalent military experience, and the ability to work across multiple shifts, including nights and weekends if needed.
- OR demonstration of the following skills and abilities through education, certifications, military, or other experiences:
- Strong professional communication skills applied internally and externally.
- Proven experience in establishing and maintaining healthy working relationships.
- Experience in fostering strong customer relationships via delivery on commitments, open communication, and ongoing feedback and improvement.
- Ability to process information with high levels of accuracy.
- Accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
- Experience in Microsoft Programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment and shifting priorities and directives.
- Experience in holding people accountable and conducting difficult conversations.
- Ability to perform in a stressful and high-pressure work environment.

Education:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, Transportation Logistics, or related field, or equivalent experience.
Work Experience:Business administration, customer service/account management, military, transportation/logistics experience preferred.
