Compensation: $20 - $23 per hour

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday with occasional weekend shifts


Key Responsibilities

The role involves providing essential support by organizing new construction and installation appointments while coordinating administrative tasks to ensure timely project initiation and completion. This position is crucial in maintaining accurate records and fostering positive customer relations through effective communication.

Responsibilities include:

  • Receiving inquiries from customers or builders and managing service or installation schedules.
  • Preparing necessary documentation to activate and schedule work within the system.
  • Compiling materials lists for scheduled projects and coordinating orders and deliveries with relevant departments or vendors.
  • Logging work orders and entering data into the system for precise billing of completed tasks.
  • Engaging with customers and departmental staff via phone, email, or written communication to address inquiries and provide necessary information.
  • Resolving customer issues and complaints effectively.
  • Creating employee schedules based on workload demands.
  • Generating regular reports on ongoing jobs, backlog revenue, and other departmental metrics.
  • Coordinating inspections post-completion of work and liaising with inspectors to address any failed inspections and arrange for corrective actions.
  • Maintaining essential data such as permits and completed inspections related to job orders.
  • Keeping radio contact with new construction teams.
  • Processing and tracking re-pipe claims in accordance with contract stipulations to ensure payment.
  • Providing quotes for specific job types over the phone and scheduling sales calls as needed.
  • Invoicing completed work, processing lien forms or releases, and following up on overdue payments.

Qualifications

A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required. Relevant experience and/or advanced training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, may be considered. Previous customer service experience is preferred. Basic computer proficiency and strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential. Experience in service or dispatching is advantageous. Familiarity with air conditioning, heating, and/or plumbing systems is preferred.
