Position Overview

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Manassas, VA. Only candidates residing in Virginia, Maryland, DC, or West Virginia will be considered. As a Site Development Manager, you will oversee and coordinate all facets of construction projects. Your daily responsibilities may include managing project timelines, budgets, and resources, liaising with subcontractors and suppliers, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple projects with precision and efficiency
  • Prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines while maintaining a focus on quality
  • Develop and monitor project schedules with milestones, taking necessary actions to keep projects on track
  • Prepare procurement documents and onboard subcontractors
  • Compile information packages for Foremen
  • Communicate project scope and contracts to subcontractors and Foremen
  • Participate in progress meetings with general contractors
  • Conduct negotiations and represent the company effectively in meetings with clients, contractors, subcontractors, and vendors
  • Submit requisitions promptly
  • Follow up on requisitions and engage in collections as needed

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of three years of relevant experience
  • Experience in site development and earthwork
  • Strong leadership and management capabilities
  • Experience in project estimation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with sound economic reasoning
  • Ability to read, interpret, and understand construction plans, contract specifications, and geotechnical reports for effective contract administration
  • Strong work ethic
  • Familiarity with Heavy Job and/or M-Files software is advantageous
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction-related field
