Role Summary
We are seeking a Client Engagement Manager to spearhead client interactions and drive business growth within the engineering and specialty services domain, focusing on municipal clients in the water, wastewater, and stormwater sectors across the Midwest.
Key Responsibilities
The responsibilities for this role encompass:
- Collaborating with regional leadership to formulate strategic sales and market expansion initiatives.
- Proactively implementing marketing strategies that lead to successful service sales and corporate objectives.
- Directing client and market development efforts within a designated area.
- Crafting and executing client engagement strategies and pursuit plans for various infrastructure clients.
- Preparing and delivering tailored technical proposals for new business opportunities.
- Working closely with Project Managers, technical experts, and the marketing team to ensure seamless operations.
- Representing RJN at regional and national conferences and trade shows, including submitting abstracts and presenting at these events.
Client Interaction
Engage with potential clients through direct communication, site visits, and participation in industry events. Become an active member of local professional organizations.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
Our ideal candidate will possess:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Engineering, along with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Exceptional public speaking and communication abilities, capable of conveying complex information clearly and effectively.
- A solid understanding of technical information and engineering services.
- Experience in the underground infrastructure sector is preferred, with a Professional Engineering license being a plus.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM systems, social media, and presentation tools.
- A collaborative spirit, comfortable working within diverse teams.
