Position Overview:
The Facilities Maintenance Attendant plays a crucial role in ensuring that all areas of the property are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and safety for guests, employees, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Uphold and embody the Mission, Vision, and Values of WarHorse Casino.
  • Maintain proficiency in the use of cleaning equipment and tools.
  • Gather necessary materials and supplies from the storage area.
  • Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including washing furniture, cleaning floors, and utilizing specialized cleaning solutions and disinfectants.
  • Address high-maintenance cleaning tasks during shifts, particularly during closing hours.
  • Conduct heavy-duty carpet cleaning in various locations, including offices and guest areas.
  • Adhere to all departmental and company policies, regulations, and safety protocols.
  • Complete assigned tasks efficiently, including all heavy and high cleaning duties.
  • Return all cleaning equipment to the storage area after completing shifts.
  • Ensure cleanliness of equipment used and dispose of soiled materials appropriately.
  • Participate in regular meetings and training sessions.
  • Comply with all departmental and company policies, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Report any mechanical issues or negative conditions observed in assigned areas using the maintenance request form.
  • Assist in the training of new team members.
  • Exhibit exceptional customer service and employee relations at all times.
  • Maintain a neat and professional appearance.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:
Applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Minimum age of 19 years.
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
  • Prior experience in a similar role is preferred, especially in a resort or casino environment.
  • Familiarity with various cleaning products and their appropriate applications.
  • Ability to obtain OSHA 10 Certification.
  • Capability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Work Environment:
This position does not require travel. Due to the dynamic nature of the hospitality and entertainment industry, team members must be available to work varied schedules to meet the operational needs of the property.

Certification Requirements:
Applicants must be able to secure and maintain a NE Gaming License and possess OSHA 10 Certification, along with a valid Driver's License.
