Job Overview

The Automotive Service Advisor plays a crucial role in fostering strong relationships with customers while effectively managing the service department's operations. This position involves greeting clients, conducting thorough visual inspections of vehicles, and providing expert consultations on their service requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver prompt and courteous service to all customers.
  • Assess and prioritize necessary services, offering informed recommendations.
  • Maintain clear communication with customers regarding service progress, potential setbacks, and updated completion timelines. Utilize advanced technology tools for enhanced transparency, including service videos and text updates.
  • Manage 15-20 repair orders daily, encompassing various service types.
  • Achieve and maintain a Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) ranking within the top 10% of the region.
  • Stay informed about products and services to accurately address customer inquiries.
  • Experience with CDK/ADP systems is preferred.

The ideal candidate will uphold a high standard of professionalism and quality, aligning with dealership policies. A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently are essential. As a service advisor, you will be expected to stay updated on the latest customer service practices and proactively resolve any issues that may arise.

Qualifications:
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Proficiency in computer systems; experience with Ford Smart and tablet-based ticket writing is advantageous.
  • Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to excellence.
