Job Summary

The Admissions and Financial Aid Specialist is responsible for attracting and recruiting highly qualified students to the pre-doctoral program of the School of Dental Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh. This role will collaborate in the day-to-day management of the processes surrounding student admission, with oversight from the Admissions Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, present, and coordinate admissions events and materials, application collection and review, interview and acceptance processes
  • Coordinate admitted student events; administer admissions databases and ensure compliance with required admissions practices and regulations
  • Collaborate on financial aid collection and processing, and student enrollment and credentialing
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 3 years of experience in admissions, recruitment, or a related field
Work Environment

This position is not sedentary and requires a lot of walking, involving delivering materials to faculty, staff, students, and other departments. Some travel is required locally and nationally.
