The dynamic ecosystem of NVIDIA's accelerated computing is fueled by a robust connection with developers. NVIDIA provides a plethora of libraries, tools, APIs, and frameworks designed to help developers harness accelerated computing for enhanced performance and reduced energy usage.
The NVIDIA developer marketing team is in search of a technical community advocate who possesses a fervor for engaging with state-of-the-art technology, crafting well-documented and inspiring demonstrations, and disseminating that knowledge within communities utilizing Small Language Models (SLMs) for their applications.
Our focus is on expanding the developer ecosystem that creates applications on NVIDIA's developer platform, which encompasses not only NVIDIA's tools but also various open-source ecosystem tools.
We seek a candidate who comprehends the developer landscape to collaborate with the Language Models developer marketing team in introducing innovative technology.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Technical Community Advocate, you will:
- Create meaningful and relevant content (e.g., demos, blogs, presentations, videos, etc.) and engage with developers, researchers, and students at both online and in-person events.
- Collaborate with the product marketing team to launch emerging technologies, write code, and share it with the community to inspire developers.
- Actively participate on public-facing NVIDIA channels, including forums and social media, assisting developers in understanding our demos and motivating them to develop their own applications.
Some travel may be necessary to present at trade shows, hackathons, and conferences.
Qualifications:
We are looking for candidates who demonstrate:
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills with a proven ability to articulate the value of emerging technologies.
- Experience presenting to technical audiences and producing developer-facing content; samples of prior work will be requested.
- Capability to prioritize and navigate rapidly evolving projects aimed at showcasing the advantages of new technologies.
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of engineering experience or its equivalent.
- Familiarity with recent advancements in LLMs, including Agents, RAG, fine-tuning, and distillation.
- Experience in developing demo applications that integrate popular community tools such as Hugging Face, LangChain, and LlamaIndex.
- Strong proficiency in Python programming, with experience in machine learning frameworks like PyTorch and TensorRT, including debugging, profiling, and optimizing applications.
Preferred Qualifications:
Additional attributes that would make you stand out include:
- Hands-on experience with NVIDIA's tools such as NeMo, RAPIDS, TensorRT, and CUDA.
- In-depth understanding of software architecture, system design, and application development.
