Job Title: Guest Service Agent

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Guest Service Agent to join our team at Astra Hotel Seattle.

Job Summary:

The Guest Service Agent is responsible for providing exceptional guest service, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for our guests. This includes greeting and registering guests, checking guests out, and resolving any issues that may arise during their stay.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Welcome and register guests efficiently, providing accurate information and assistance as needed.
  • Verify guest information, including rate and departure date, and confirm any modifications to the registration process.
  • Check departing guests out of the hotel, ensuring a smooth and timely process.
  • Respond to guest inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and friendly manner.
  • Authorize revenue allowances and resolve guest complaints in accordance with hotel policy.
  • Adhere to guest safe deposit box procedures and maintain knowledge of groups and functions in the hotel.
  • Assist guests with check-out, including processing payments and handling foreign currency.
  • Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of hotel information, including room categories, rates, packages, and promotions.
  • Respond to guest inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Field guest complaints, conduct research, and resolve and negotiate solutions for guest satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent is required.
  • Flexible schedule to include am/pm shifts, weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
  • 1-2 years of customer service experience, preferably in a hotel setting.
  • Previous front desk agent and Marriott experience preferred.
