Job Title: Account Executive

KCRA 3, a leading NBC-affiliate in Sacramento, CA, is seeking a skilled Account Executive to drive multiplatform advertising sales. This role involves developing and executing sales strategies to meet revenue targets, with a focus on new business development and relationship-building with local businesses and agencies.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Drive revenue growth across multiple platforms, including television and digital media.
  2. Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting and research.
  3. Cultivate relationships with local businesses and agencies to influence advertising purchasing decisions.
  4. Develop and present sales strategies to new and existing clients, leveraging the power of television and digital platforms.
  5. Implement individual account strategies to grow revenue from existing clients.
  6. Utilize research to support marketing solutions and customer goals.
  7. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and client business news.
  8. Provide regular progress updates to sales management.
Requirements:
  1. Experience in sales and/or marketing, preferably in media (television and/or digital).
  2. Proven track record in new business development.
  3. Ability to work in a goal-structured organization.
  4. Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
  5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, with experience in Wide Orbit, Kantar, and One Domain/WO Media Office a plus.
  6. Military training and experience may be considered in lieu of media sales experience.
  7. College degree in marketing, business, or broadcast-related field preferred but not required.
  8. In-person attendance is required.
Compensation:

This position is paid based on commissions, with a salary range of $70,000 to $100,000, depending on performance and other criteria set forth by management.
