Job Overview

Salesforce Inc is seeking a Technical Sales Consultant to join our team. As a Technical Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for selling our data analytics solutions to customers and partners. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team of professionals who are passionate about using data to tell compelling stories and drive business outcomes.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analytics, including data platforms, data loading and transformation solutions, as well as hands-on knowledge of related applications. They will be able to work as part of a team to solve complex technical problems in sales situations and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

This role requires a minimum of 4 years of professional experience, preferably in a solution/sales engineering role for a data or analytics software vendor. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate their technical and sales skills, including the ability to solicit business requirements, develop a technical sales strategy, configure and successfully demonstrate solutions that address these requirements and provide business value.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy Development: Develop a sales strategy that meets the needs of our customers and drives business growth.
  • Product Demonstrations: Demonstrate our data analytics solutions to customers and partners.
  • Customer Needs Analysis: Identify customer business needs and position analytics solutions to meet objectives.

Estimated Salary Range: $93,170 - $188,650 per year (dependent on location)
