Position Overview:

The Maintenance Operations Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing the maintenance activities within the manufacturing environment. This position is vital for ensuring that all equipment operates efficiently and is maintained according to established standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the overall maintenance of the manufacturing floor, ensuring compliance with manufacturer specifications.
  • Prioritize and schedule equipment repairs while creating and adhering to preventive maintenance plans.
  • Supervise maintenance technicians and engineers, providing guidance and support in their daily tasks.
  • Conduct regular inspections of mechanical processes and machinery to ensure optimal performance.
  • Maintain safety standards and the aesthetic condition of manufacturing equipment.
  • Oversee Total Preventative and Predictive Maintenance (TPM) initiatives.
  • Document all maintenance activities, upgrades, and repairs for compliance and historical reference.
  • Ensure all employees are trained on safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
  • Facilitate communication with internal and external stakeholders to support maintenance operations.
  • Respond to maintenance emergencies and be available for flexible working hours as needed.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; technical trade certification is required.
  • Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • At least 3 years of experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems.
  • Experience in an FDA-regulated environment is essential.
  • Familiarity with basic machine tools and assembly processes is desirable.

Skills Required:

  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficient in ISO 13485 and cGMP procedures.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Travel Requirements:
