Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise a team of three direct reports, including two Accounts Payable specialists and one Accounts Receivable specialist.
  • Oversee the organization's financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and adherence to accounting standards across accounts payable, accounts receivable, and the general ledger.
  • Prepare and evaluate financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to facilitate timely and precise financial analysis.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to guarantee accurate financial reporting and provide valuable insights for management decision-making.
  • Ensure the efficient and accurate completion of month-end and year-end closing activities, including reconciliations and necessary adjustments.
  • Assist external auditors during the annual audit, ensuring compliance with accounting regulations and standards.
  • Develop and uphold accounting policies and procedures to maintain accuracy and compliance, while implementing process enhancements as required.

Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • A minimum of four years of relevant accounting experience.
  • Experience in the manufacturing sector is preferred.
  • Knowledge of cost accounting is advantageous.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong understanding and application of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Exceptional business partnering and communication abilities.
