They are actively searching for a Financial Operations Supervisor to join their dynamic team, providing an excellent opportunity for career advancement within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise a team of three direct reports, including two Accounts Payable specialists and one Accounts Receivable specialist.
- Oversee the organization's financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and adherence to accounting standards across accounts payable, accounts receivable, and the general ledger.
- Prepare and evaluate financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to facilitate timely and precise financial analysis.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to guarantee accurate financial reporting and provide valuable insights for management decision-making.
- Ensure the efficient and accurate completion of month-end and year-end closing activities, including reconciliations and necessary adjustments.
- Assist external auditors during the annual audit, ensuring compliance with accounting regulations and standards.
- Develop and uphold accounting policies and procedures to maintain accuracy and compliance, while implementing process enhancements as required.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field.
- A minimum of four years of relevant accounting experience.
- Experience in the manufacturing sector is preferred.
- Knowledge of cost accounting is advantageous.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong understanding and application of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Exceptional business partnering and communication abilities.
