Job Overview

The Water Technologies and Solutions Analytical Instruments (Sievers Brand) division is seeking a dedicated Sales Specialist to manage our Microbiology offerings, specifically focusing on endotoxin and bioburden detection.

This role is pivotal in fostering robust relationships with our life science clientele to enhance our market presence in endotoxin and bioburden testing solutions. The selected candidate will identify new sales prospects and support the success of our end users, with travel responsibilities across the Western United States.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage in direct sales of Sievers endotoxin and bioburden detection technologies, including instruments, consumables, and services within the designated territory.
  • Achieve or surpass revenue and booking objectives, focusing on sustainable business growth.
  • Demonstrate and present Sievers Eclipse and Soleil platforms at client locations.
  • Organize sales meetings through existing databases and proactive outreach, including cold calling and prospecting.
  • Maintain and update all contacts, accounts, opportunities, and sales data in Salesforce CRM.
  • Effectively manage the sales pipeline to meet both short-term and long-term sales goals, encompassing prospecting, solution positioning, demonstrations, quoting, and closing sales.
  • Provide accurate forecasts and performance metrics on a monthly basis.
  • Build and nurture positive relationships with clients.
  • Participate in company-sponsored trade shows and identify local or regional conferences that may yield sales opportunities.
  • Possess a technical understanding of competitor products and sales strategies.

Ideal Candidate:
This position is remote-based, requiring the candidate to reside within a one-hour drive of a major airport in the Western United States and be eligible for travel to Canada. The ideal candidate will thrive in a rapidly evolving life science environment, consistently meet sales targets, and seek professional development through various training opportunities.
