Technical Source is in search of a qualified Process Engineer to enhance the efficiency of personnel, machinery, and workflows within our client's operations. This role is structured as a contract-to-hire opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive investigations into deviations and perform root cause analyses.
  • Facilitate ongoing enhancements utilizing Lean methodologies and Six Sigma principles.
  • Ensure that process content and operations comply with both business and regulatory standards. This role includes providing training for junior colleagues and showcasing expertise in designated areas. Develop solutions for moderately complex to highly complex challenges.
  • Identify and execute process requirements and improvement initiatives for moderate to high complexity issues.
  • Oversee periodic evaluations and reporting, collaborating across various sites.
  • Maintain and update area master data and recipes as necessary.
  • Offer support on specific issues, leveraging expertise and knowledge.
  • Adhere to all safety and environmental protocols while performing duties.

Qualifications for Problem Solving and Process Efficiency

  • Exceptional written communication skills are essential.
  • Proven experience in thorough investigations and systematic problem-solving is required.
  • Experience and training in LEAN manufacturing are necessary.
  • Preferred knowledge of adult learning methodologies and the ability to employ diverse training methods.
  • General understanding of change control systems and Quality Management Systems (QMS) is required.
  • Relevant experience with electronic manufacturing systems (e.g., SAP, PAS-X) is necessary.
  • Experience with regulatory audits and inspections is required.

Leadership Skills

  • Ability to cultivate strong relationships with operators and technicians.
  • Utilize established relationships to collaboratively navigate systematic problem-solving processes.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with relevant master data is advantageous.
  • Experience in validation processes is preferred.
  • Experience in product transfer or technology transfer is a plus.
