The Manufacturing Process Engineer will be responsible for pinpointing improvement opportunities, strategizing and executing modifications, and supervising all manufacturing workflows to maximize productivity and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and refine manufacturing workflows and systems.
- Examine production data and formulate strategies to tackle inefficiencies.
- Work closely with production, engineering, and quality assurance teams to ensure adherence to product specifications.
- Assess new technologies and machinery to improve manufacturing capabilities.
- Create and uphold standard operating procedures and work instructions.
- Offer support and training on new processes and machinery.
- Lead investigations and corrective measures for manufacturing challenges and non-conformities.
- Conduct risk evaluations and execute mitigation strategies to guarantee process reliability and safety.
- Engage in project teams for new product launches and process validations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
- 3+ years of experience in manufacturing and/or process engineering; 5+ years preferred.
- Capability to manage and oversee multiple projects concurrently.
- Familiarity with engineering/manufacturing software and process simulation tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Minitab, ERP/MRP).
- Understanding of Six Sigma and Lean methodologies.
- Basic knowledge of PLC systems, programming, and pneumatic/hydraulic systems is preferred.
