Position Overview:
Lighthouse Insurance Group, part of Alera Group, is in search of an Account Specialist to enhance our Commercial Insurance division.

Key Responsibilities:
This role is pivotal in assisting both Account Managers and Producers to ensure an outstanding experience for our clients and potential clients. The successful Account Specialist will possess the service-oriented skills necessary to meet the needs of both internal and external customers, contributing to the growth and retention of our client base.

Essential duties include:
1. Cultivating and sustaining strong relationships with Internal Services, Account Management, and Producer teams.
2. Adhering to agency best practices regarding workflow management and data accuracy.
3. Supporting the renewal and proposal processes.
4. Preparing documentation for client meetings.
5. Assisting Account Managers with client management tasks, including claims, reporting, motor vehicle reports, and insurance certificates.
6. Maintaining stewardship reporting for the Account Management team.
7. Researching policy language and comparing coverage options to aid Account Manager decision-making.
8. Mastering internal client management systems, including AMS 360 and ImageRight.
9. Contributing to the training of junior team members.
10. Engaging in personal and professional development initiatives.
11. Fostering a positive work environment characterized by trust, open communication, creative thinking, and teamwork.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service or a professional setting.
- Possession or willingness to obtain a Property & Casualty license.
- Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
- Self-motivated with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to collaborate with diverse individuals.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Capability to read, analyze, interpret, and communicate insurance coverage.
- Comprehensive understanding of underwriting and insurance coverage.
- Ability to recognize workflows and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Competence in problem-solving, data collection, and drawing valid conclusions.
