Financial Controller Job Summary

The Financial Controller will play a pivotal role in managing the financial health and ensuring the integrity of financial reporting for Vaco. This position requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in accounting and finance, capable of leading a team and collaborating with various departments to achieve our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Manage cash flow and working capital to support business growth.
  • Coordinate and lead the annual audit process, working closely with external auditors.
  • Provide financial insights and strategic recommendations to the executive team.
  • Mentor and develop the finance team, promoting a culture of excellence and accountability.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
  • 7 years experience.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and financial regulations.
  • Proficient in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
