Job Summary

Fresenius Medical Care North America seeks a seasoned finance professional to serve as Director, Corporate FP&A. This key leadership role oversees the development, implementation, and maintenance of business plans, forecasts, and reports for assigned functional areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic leadership of short- and long-term goals through effective communication of the company's mission and core values.
  • Lead operational efforts to administer business processes and services, ensuring effective achievement of goals within assigned business units.
  • Direct and control broad activities of business units through interpretation, application, and implementation of company-wide policies and processes.
  • Ensure budgets, forecasts, and supporting analyses and schedules meet company requirements, with significant organizational responsibility for planning, staffing, budgeting, expense priority management, and recommending changes to current methods.
  • Direct budget and forecasting processes within assigned functional areas, ensuring data accuracy and integrity in a timely manner.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of improved policies and procedures within assigned functional areas.
  • Participate in cross-functional and cross-divisional finance transformation activities focused on process improvement opportunities within the planning, forecasting, and accounting cycles.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and coaching for direct reports to maintain an engaged and productive workforce, partnering with Human Resources on employee matters.
  • Collaborate with employees to establish clear and concise development plans, ensuring succession planning and the advancement of future leaders within the organization.
  • Provide technical guidance and assist with various projects as assigned.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree required; Advanced Degree preferred.
  • 10+ years' related experience.
  • 5+ years' experience as a Manager or 5+ years' experience in a senior managerial role.
  • Strong computer skills with advanced proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, and email applications.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with business warehouse (BW) systems (e.g., BEx, SAP, etc.).
  • Detailed knowledge of general accounting, close, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and analysis processes.
  • Strong management skills with the ability to lead cohesive and productive teams.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of management through diplomacy and tact.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
