We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Medical Customer Service Representative. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our donors, ensuring their safety and satisfaction throughout the plasma donation process.
As a Medical Customer Service Representative, you will be the first point of contact for our donors, answering their questions, addressing their concerns, and providing them with a positive and welcoming experience. You will also be responsible for screening new and repeat donors, taking and recording their vital signs and finger stick results, and using our Donor Information System to prepare donor charts and maintain accurate records.
Additionally, you will be expected to work collaboratively with our team to identify operational opportunities for continuous improvement and implement changes to center processes using company-approved procedures. You will also be required to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
What You BringTo be successful in this role, you will need to have a high school diploma or equivalent, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will also need to be able to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift, and be able to lift up to 5 pounds and occasionally lift materials up to 32 pounds and rarely 50 pounds.
You will also need to have fine motor coordination, depth perception, and the ability to hear equipment from a distance. Due to the potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens, you will be required to wear gloves for prolonged periods.
What We OfferWe offer a competitive starting hourly wage of $16.00, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan, and company match. You will also be eligible for short-term incentives and paid volunteer time off.
