About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hotel General Manager to lead our team at the Hampton Inn Louisville-Airport. As a key leader in our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our hotel's operations and ensuring a memorable experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hotel Operations: Manage day-to-day hotel operations, including coordinating staff schedules, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and monitoring financial performance.
  • Staff Management: Recruit, train, and coach staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide excellent service to our guests.
  • Financial Management: Manage budgets, financial plans, financial records, and statistical information to ensure the hotel is operating efficiently and effectively.
  • Guest Satisfaction: Deal with guest complaints and comments in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that our guests have a positive experience at our hotel.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all current brand standards, including regulatory and company requirements.
Requirements
  • Leadership Skills: Strong interpersonal skills and possession of a full understanding of professional business ethics, decorum, and social skills.
  • Professional Appearance: Appropriate professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Attention to Detail: Detail-oriented professional with excellent organization skills, able to manage time well, correctly prioritize, and be flexible.
  • Industry Knowledge: Understanding of group and transient sales processes and forecasting procedures.
