Position Overview

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our dynamic team at Hotel Genevieve. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the hospitality sector and demonstrate a passion for delivering exceptional service.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent; a degree in hospitality is preferred.
  • A minimum of six months of experience in a bar or restaurant setting.
  • Proficiency in the primary language(s) used in the workplace is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive and process beverage orders from patrons and serving staff.
  • Craft and present cocktails and beverages in accordance with Hotel Genevieve standards.
  • Serve food items and snacks as requested or coordinate with the kitchen staff.
  • Maintain cleanliness of bar equipment, utensils, and glassware.
  • Create visually appealing displays of bottles and glasses.
  • Assist in the planning and organization of the bar menu and operations.
  • Address guest feedback and concerns promptly, reporting to supervisors as necessary.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly.
  • Verify customer age for alcohol purchases in compliance with legal requirements.
  • Manage cash receipts and ensure accurate balancing.

Work Environment:

  • The noise level is typically moderate.
