Primary Responsibilities
- Strategic Development: Formulate and execute sales strategies that resonate with the company's objectives, emphasizing total sales revenue and margin growth. Collaborate with the Sales Operations team to analyze market trends and optimize resource allocation.
- Target Setting: Work alongside sales operations and finance to establish realistic sales targets for the team that align with the company's strategic direction.
- Team Management & Development: Inspire, manage, and guide the sales team to achieve their sales goals. Provide training to enhance the skills and knowledge of the sales personnel, ensuring collaboration across Glass and Metal teams.
- Performance Monitoring: Continuously assess sales performance and implement corrective measures as needed. Report results to senior management and ensure the team effectively tracks customer interactions and manages the sales pipeline in the CRM.
- Relationship Building: Cultivate strong relationships with clients, the sales team, and internal partners.
- Customer Experience: Utilize all available resources to provide an exceptional customer experience.
- Sales Engagement: Participate in sales activities for key or challenging clients to drive growth.

Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in sales/marketing or equivalent experience preferred.
- At least 5 years of sales experience required.
- Residence in the Southwest region is mandatory.
- Experience in building materials, construction, architectural aluminum, or glass sales is preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities to build and develop a dedicated sales team.
- Passion for training and empowering team members to exceed their objectives.
- Experience in large, complex organizations is a plus.
- Results-driven, ensuring commitments are met while continuously enhancing customer experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills across all organizational levels.
- Proficient in customer service, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are essential.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
Additional Information
- Lead a team of 6-8 direct reports.
- Travel requirements: 50-60%, including air travel.
