Internal Logistics Group Leader

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Internal Logistics Group Leader to join our team at Toyota. As a key member of our Logistics Department, you will play a critical role in supporting the Internal Logistics Department Manager and ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics processes.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise a team in a shipping and receiving dock environment, ensuring efficient and safe operations.
- Manage the flow of raw materials and components from receiving to internal processes and final customers.
- Complete time entry and manage coding and HR issues daily.
- Understand staffing conditions and adjust accordingly to meet business needs.
- Promote a safety-first work culture and maintain a high standard of professionalism and respect in all interactions.
- Support the strategic direction of the team to achieve business objectives and ensure successful conveyance launch of all battery lines.
- Collaborate with other groups to promote a strong kaizen culture and drive standardization and best practices.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in Logistics or PC management, preferably in manufacturing, shipping/receiving, or warehousing industries.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data analytics experience.
- Strong leadership skills with experience leading teams, coaching problem-solving, and driving continuous improvement.
- Experience in production manpower planning and shop floor operations.
- Commitment to professional conduct and fostering a respectful and productive work environment.
- Battery or Toyota manufacturing experience.
- 3 Pillar management/execution experience.
- Hoshin creation and execution experience.
- Demonstrated technical problem-solving ability.
