VISIO Technical Specialist

Bowhead is seeking a highly skilled VISIO Technical Specialist to join our team. As a VISIO Technical Specialist, you will be responsible for developing comprehensive VISIO drawing packages and written documentation for network infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities- VISIO Drawing Development: Create and manage detailed VISIO drawing packages based on network infrastructure designs, site surveys, installations, and as-built documentation.
- Written Documentation: Develop and compile comprehensive Trainer Facility Reports that include detailed written narratives of network installations, configurations, and as-built conditions.
- Collaboration and Data Collection: Work closely with network engineers, field technicians, and project managers to gather necessary data from site surveys and installations.
- As-Built Documentation: Maintain and update all documentation (VISIO drawings and written reports) to reflect any changes in network infrastructure post-installation.
- Documentation Library Management: Organize and manage a library of drawings and reports for multiple projects.
- Education: Associate's degree in a related technical field (e.g., Information Technology, Engineering, or Technical Writing) or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in technical writing and drawing development, preferably in network infrastructure.
- Skills: Proven ability to write clear, concise, and technically accurate documentation for complex systems. Experience writing detailed technical reports.
- Software Proficiency: Minimum 4-6 years in Microsoft Visio with extensive experience creating detailed diagrams for network infrastructure, including routers, switches, servers, and cabling.
- Additional Requirements: Familiarity with network infrastructure components and configurations, including the ability to interpret technical specifications and site survey data.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Technical Writing, or a related field.
- Skills: Certifications related to networking or CAD design (e.g., Cisco certifications, Microsoft certifications).
- Experience: Previous experience developing both as-built (AB) diagrams and technical reports for network infrastructure projects.
Bowhead is a typical office environment with no unusual hazards. The successful candidate will be required to lift up to 25 pounds, stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time, and twist, bend, and squat periodically.
Security Clearance RequirementsThe successful candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance.
