Role Overview

The primary objective of this position is to evaluate, detect, correct, and propose targeted enhancements that bolster the organization's security framework by safeguarding sensitive data.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Customer-Focused Cybersecurity
    1. Oversee and protect log sources and security access points.
    2. Develop disaster recovery strategies in case of security incidents.
    3. Monitor for potential attacks, intrusions, and any unauthorized or illicit activities.
    4. Conduct detailed log reviews and forensic investigations to uncover unauthorized access to data or systems.
    5. Perform security evaluations, risk assessments, and root cause analyses of security events.
    6. Manage incidents escalated by the Level 1 team in a 24/7 rotational schedule.
    7. Utilize advanced analytical tools to identify emerging threat patterns and vulnerabilities.
    8. Complete all tactical security operations tasks associated with this role.
    9. Analyze all attacks and provide comprehensive remedial action reports.
    10. Conduct thorough incident analyses and generate reports and dashboards.
  2. Stakeholder Engagement & Audit Support
    1. Collaborate with stakeholders regarding cybersecurity matters and offer future recommendations.
    2. Maintain an information security risk register and assist with both internal and external audits related to information security.
    3. Support the development, maintenance, and delivery of cybersecurity awareness training for staff.
    4. Provide advice and guidance to employees on issues such as spam and malicious emails.
