Role Summary
The Member Acquisition Manager will play a pivotal role within ISMG's engagement and outreach team. This position is crucial for expanding our membership base, which currently includes over 1,500 senior-level professionals in information security and risk management worldwide. Key responsibilities will also encompass building a robust and diverse member community, ensuring member satisfaction, and enhancing member retention.
Key Responsibilities
- Attract new members while maintaining relationships with existing ones.
- Design and implement initiatives aimed at member recruitment and retention.
- Create targeted marketing strategies based on thorough analysis for significant initiatives.
- Engage in various outreach efforts to draw in, recruit, and retain new members to meet established growth objectives.
- Conduct annual evaluations with members to guarantee ISMG delivers tailored value.
- Provide exceptional customer service and an elevated member experience through effective communication via calls, emails, or other channels to establish expectations and foster meaningful connections.
- Ensure prompt and confidential processing of all membership applications.
- Collaborate with the Membership, Marketing, and Communications team to set annual objectives and metrics for assessing community engagement.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Public Relations, Communication, Marketing, or related fields.
- 2-3 years of experience in membership or community management and development.
- Experience interacting with CISOs or other C-Level executives.
- A solid understanding of the cybersecurity sector and technology (B2B experience preferred).
- Previous involvement in event management.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
- Proficient in Excel, Project Management tools, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with both quantitative and qualitative research methods, including survey design.
- A self-motivated individual who excels in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment, with a proven ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines.
- Capability to manage and prioritize multiple projects concurrently.
- Outstanding customer service skills.
- An independent thinker with a solutions-oriented approach.
