Store Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Store Operations Manager to join our team at Meijer. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for planning, directing, and supervising team members in the day-to-day operations within various departments of the store.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and implement strategies to improve customer service, drive store sales, and ensure customer needs are met in a quick and efficient manner.
- Mentor and coach team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
- Ensure the store appearance is maintained to the highest standards, with a focus on prime shopping hours, product presentation, and company standards.
- Manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities to meet business objectives.
- Analyze financial and statistical information to make informed decisions and drive business growth.
- Develop and implement training programs to ensure team members have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 2-3 years of related retail experience.
- One year of management experience.
- Rotational assignments in other areas of the store, such as meat, bakery, produce, and deli, as well as customer service and product flow experience.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with team members and lead an organization that practices working safely at all times.
- Successful completion of all required certifications.
