Job Summary:

As a Hospital Administration Shift Supervisor at CMP, you will oversee nursing and hospital operations on assigned shifts, ensuring seamless patient flow and maximizing patient care. You will coordinate patient bed placement, supervise staff placement, and function as an on-site administrative representative in the absence of regular hospital administration.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct hospital operations on assigned shifts to ensure patient care needs are met.
  • Round on patient units to identify placement needs, available beds, and staff capacity.
  • Communicate with Charge Nurses, Unit Managers, and other stakeholders to prioritize patient placement and ensure cost-effectiveness.
  • Coordinate with Regional Telephonic Medical Center, Surgical Services, and other departments to ensure patient care needs are met.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policy and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements.
  • Anticipate potential problems and intervene to minimize adverse impact.
Requirements:
  • Minimum one year of leadership experience in the healthcare field.
  • Minimum three years of acute care nursing practice.
  • BSN or health-related bachelor's degree, or currently enrolled in a BSN or health-related bachelor's degree program with completion date within three years.
  • Registered Nurse License (in the state where care is provided).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Minimum seven years of combined acute care clinical experience as an RN.
  • Minimum three years of previous healthcare or management experience.
