Job Title: Sous Chef

Prime Hospitality Group, LLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for managing and supervising all kitchen-related activities, ensuring the highest quality preparation and presentation of menu items, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring they are working efficiently and effectively to meet the needs of our guests.
  • Develop and implement menus, recipes, and cooking techniques to ensure consistency and quality across all menu items.
  • Conduct inventory and ordering of supplies, ensuring that we have the necessary ingredients and equipment to meet the demands of our kitchen.
  • Monitor and maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef and other members of the culinary team to develop and implement new menu ideas and concepts.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Sous Chef in a high-volume restaurant or hospitality setting.
  • Proven track record of managing and supervising kitchen staff, with a focus on quality, safety, and efficiency.
  • Strong knowledge of menu planning, inventory management, and food safety protocols.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse team of staff.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • SERV Safe Certification.
  • Experience with inventory management software and other kitchen management systems.
  • Knowledge of food cost control and labor management techniques.
