Job Title: Society Administrator

The Philadelphia Ethical Society is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Society Administrator to manage the business affairs of the organization, oversee daily office operations, and collaborate with staff and members to achieve the Society's goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage rental agreements, coordinate building use, and maintain online calendars
  • Administer office operations, including budgeting, purchasing, and payroll
  • Supervise building maintenance, custodian, and housekeeper
  • Coordinate with committees and staff to achieve organizational objectives
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Multiple years of non-profit management experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of computer systems, including Microsoft and Google applications
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment, with flexibility and teamwork
Physical Conditions:

Most work hours will be in the Center City office, with occasional remote work and evening availability for committee meetings.

Able to work comfortably at a standard office desk and climb multiple flights of stairs during the day.
