Payroll Clerk Job Description

PrideStaff Financial is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Clerk to join their team. As a Payroll Clerk, you will be responsible for resolving employee payroll-related issues, uploading hours to the payroll system, and running weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Resolve all employee payroll-related issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Upload hours to the payroll system and ensure accurate and timely payment.
  • Run weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Investigate and resolve any discrepancies in payroll records.
  • Notify supervisors of employee work anniversaries, birthdays, and PTO.
  • Maintain and upkeep personnel files.
Requirements:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and payroll software systems.
  • Knowledge of compliance regulations and laws.
  • 1-3 years of experience in payroll or a related field.
  • Degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
