Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a Full-Time, Salaried K-12 School Dietitian to support the development, execution, and assessment of nutrition and sustainability initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead menu development and manage recipes and ingredients using our proprietary software.
  • Collaborate with culinary teams on strategic procurement initiatives and conduct nutritional evaluations of ingredients, recipes, and menus.
  • Design and deliver training for associates and oversee compliance with food allergy and medical condition programs.
  • Implement student-focused nutrition education initiatives.
  • Provide guidance for operational teams and support media and nutrition communications, including social media engagement.
  • Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with USDA regulations for school meal programs.
  • Work alongside a diverse group of dietitians within Compass Group USA to contribute to various programs, including sustainability efforts, taste testing, and nutrition education initiatives.

Qualifications:
  • Registered Dietitian credential from the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) is required.
  • Strong communication, multitasking, and teamwork abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and nutrient analysis software.
  • Experience in food service and/or K-12 nutrition is highly preferred.
