Position Overview:
As a Fleet Maintenance Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the operational efficiency of our fleet vehicles. This position involves a variety of tasks related to vehicle maintenance and repair, focusing on delivering high-quality service to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine maintenance on delivery vans and DOT vehicles, ensuring they meet safety and performance standards.
- Perform essential technician services including oil changes, tire rotations, system diagnostics, brake repairs, and fluid exchanges.
- Execute advanced repairs and state inspections as required.
- Participate in training programs that may take place in a retail environment before transitioning to client sites.
Essential Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in performing DOT regulated inspections and preventative maintenance.
- Possession of DOT Brake Certification, or the willingness to obtain it within 30 days of employment.
- A valid driver's license and compliance with DOT physical requirements, including being at least 21 years old.
Preferred Skills:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- ASE Certification(s) are advantageous.
- Experience in diagnosing vehicle issues and conducting road tests, including knowledge of electrical systems, air conditioning, and fuel ignition systems.
