Job Overview

The Senior Quality Assurance Specialist plays a crucial role in overseeing product quality associated with the manufacturing process. We seek an experienced professional with a comprehensive understanding of methodologies and practices in quality management. This individual should possess extensive expertise in the technological domain, particularly in ensuring the quality of products, services, and manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities

Primary Duties
  • Act as the primary contact for maintaining overall quality standards in manufacturing, managing incoming goods control, and inspecting production engines.
  • Propose modifications to procedures to facilitate process enhancements.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams on manufacturing-related challenges.
  • Lead investigations into quality concerns, creating detailed reports on investigation and action status to present at quality meetings.
  • Identify and implement corrective measures for quality-related issues.
  • Develop and oversee metrics and action plans aimed at reducing incoming quality challenges.
  • Provide support for engine sickbays.
  • Ensure product conformity by managing the completion of Characteristic Accountability and driving necessary updates in processes and designs.
  • Update and create quality management procedures.
  • Conduct quarterly audits of workstations.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for internal and external audits.
  • Support and lead Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) events.
  • Investigate and address all product-related quality inquiries.
  • Contribute to Quality Control Communication Center, presenting quality metrics.
  • Influence decisions within the quality discipline and related areas.
  • Tackle complex technological challenges or manufacturing processes.
  • Mentor and coach newer team members.
Required Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or a high school diploma/GED with at least 4 years of experience in Quality.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Production Quality or Manufacturing.
