At Cambia, our dedicated team of Medicare Sales Executives is committed to our mission of simplifying health care and enhancing lives. As a member of the Medicare and FEP Sales team, you will be tasked with achieving sales objectives in designated geographic regions through direct interaction with Medicare beneficiaries, potential beneficiaries, and other stakeholders involved in the Medicare ecosystem, all aimed at facilitating our members' health journeys.
What You Bring to Cambia:
Qualifications (not exhaustive):
- 3+ years of experience in sales or customer service, ideally with a focus on Medicare or healthcare-related offerings (not mandatory)
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities
- Capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and guide business decisions
Skills and Attributes (not exhaustive):
- Comprehensive understanding of sales methodologies and insurance regulations, including CMS Medicare guidelines.
- Familiarity with Medicare products.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong listening and reasoning abilities, capacity to work in a team setting, and adeptness at conveying sensitive and/or confidential information to diverse audiences while adapting to their needs.
- Ability to operate independently with minimal direct supervision. Self-driven with the capability to inspire others.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and adeptness in navigating mobile applications and Salesforce.
Your Responsibilities at Cambia (not exhaustive):
- Achieve or surpass new sales and retention goals as established by management.
- Sales and retention objectives may be defined by regional territory, including metrics such as close rates or participation in specific events.
- Formulate, execute, and continuously refine an annual territory Business Plan, incorporating specific strategies and tactics to meet the defined sales and retention goals. This plan will also include market and competitive analysis using demographic and other relevant data, lead-generation strategies, and detailed sales activities/calendars. The plan will be regularly updated in response to market dynamics or competitor actions, among other factors.
- Evaluate competitors' offerings and devise strategies to position the plan's individual products effectively against the competition.
- Generate qualified leads through field activities/events and referrals to meet targets set by management.
- Conduct Medicare product sales seminars for new business by delivering compelling sales presentations to consumer groups and individuals.
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing and following up on customer concerns.
The anticipated salary range for the Medicare Sales Executive role is 75k - 80k annually, depending on skills, experience, education, training, relevant licensure/certifications, and performance history. This position also includes an annual sales bonus. The complete salary range for this role is $70k Low Range / $88k MRP / $115k High Range.
