At Cambia, our committed team of Medicare Sales Executives is dedicated to our mission of simplifying healthcare and improving lives. As a vital member of the Medicare and FEP Sales team, you will be tasked with achieving sales objectives in designated regions through direct interaction with Medicare beneficiaries, potential beneficiaries, and other key stakeholders within the Medicare community. Your efforts will contribute to making our members' healthcare experiences more manageable.


What You Bring to Cambia:

  • 3+ years of experience in sales or customer service, ideally with a focus on Medicare or healthcare-related products (not mandatory).
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and inform strategic decisions.

Skills and Attributes:

  • Comprehensive understanding of sales techniques and insurance regulations, including CMS Medicare guidelines.
  • Familiarity with Medicare products.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with strong listening and reasoning capabilities, adaptable to various audiences.
  • Self-driven with the ability to motivate others and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and adept at navigating mobile applications and Salesforce.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve or surpass new sales and retention goals as established by management.
  • Sales and retention objectives may vary by regional territory and could include metrics such as close rates or participation in specific events.
  • Develop, execute, and continuously refine an annual territory Business Plan, incorporating targeted strategies and tactics to meet sales and retention goals. This plan will include market analysis, lead-generation strategies, and specific sales activities, and will be adjusted regularly based on market dynamics.
  • Evaluate competitors' offerings and devise strategies to effectively position our products against them.
  • Generate qualified leads through field activities and referrals to meet management-defined targets.
  • Conduct informative Medicare product sales seminars, delivering compelling presentations to consumer groups and individuals.
  • Maintain high customer satisfaction levels by addressing and following up on customer inquiries and concerns.

The anticipated salary range for the Medicare Sales Executive role is $75,000 - $80,000 annually, contingent upon skills, experience, education, and performance history. This position also includes an annual sales bonus. The overall salary range for this position is $70,000 Low Range / $88,000 MRP / $115,000 High Range.
