Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Manager to join our team at LHC Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the administrative support and non-clinical operations of our agency, ensuring that all duties are performed in a timely and efficient manner.

The Business Manager will be responsible for managing contracts, binders, and HR/medical files for all agency employees and contract staff, as well as reviewing and submitting invoices to Home Office in accordance with LHC Group policy.

The ideal candidate will have strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Experience with payroll process, supply management, and basic financial knowledge is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and maintain contracts, binders, and HR/medical files for all agency employees and contract staff.
  • Review and submit invoices to Home Office in accordance with LHC Group policy.
  • Manage clerical staff and non-clinical workflow and process in the office.
  • Ensure effective communication within the agency.
  • Process and ensure successful onboarding and training for new agency employees/contractors/students.
  • Manage payroll process within the agency.
  • Coordinate Personal Emergency Response Program.
  • Procure and manage inventory of goods and services within budgeted guidelines.
  • Ensure timely and proper processing of paperwork and incident reports.
  • Assist agency director in preparing annual budget and analyzing variances.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of healthcare experience or 3 years of experience in an office administration role or a bachelor's degree.
  • Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with payroll process, supply management, and basic financial knowledge preferred.
