Your Role at Raising Cane's:


The Operations Supervisor is accountable for assisting the Restaurant Leader in achieving operational excellence within the restaurant and maintaining Raising Cane's standards and culture across all facets of restaurant operations.

The work environment involves a dynamic kitchen setting and engaging with customers. This role requires extended periods of physical activity, including walking, standing, and lifting.

It also involves working both indoors and outdoors in varying temperatures, with food products and common allergens, industrial equipment, and commercial cleaning agents, necessitating the use of personal protective equipment and ergonomic practices to fulfill job responsibilities.

Purpose of the Position:
Implements restaurant operational functions

Acts as the manager on duty and oversees the opening and closing of the restaurant

Manages cash handling processes and ensures accountability

General Responsibilities:
Enforces Raising Cane's policies and standards

Implements shift management while meeting Raising Cane's operational and safety standards

Utilizes necessary tools, forms, and logs to support shift execution, document outcomes, and take corrective actions when required

Allocates team members during a shift

Delivers exceptional customer service

Employs reward and recognition programs for the team members in the restaurant

Authorizes employee functions requiring managerial approval (e.g., discounts, promotions, timeclock overrides, etc.)

Ensures cleanliness of the restaurant and that the facility is in optimal working condition

Completes additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Requirements for Success:
Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple shifting priorities

Self-motivated, adaptable, and highly energetic with strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills

Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Capable of identifying and analyzing issues, setting objectives, creating plans, and executing those plans to resolve challenges

Proficient in various technology systems, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook), with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems

Able to work various shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends, and travel as necessary for work-related functions and training

Must complete all required training programs provided by Raising Cane's

3+ years of experience in restaurant or retail management

Experience with new restaurant openings is preferred

Must be 18 years of age or older

A high school diploma or equivalent is required; some college education is preferred
