Position Summary:

The Part-Time Marketing Specialist will assist the marketing and communications director in crafting and implementing promotional strategies, managing social media presence, generating compelling content, and evaluating campaign effectiveness.

This position calls for a motivated individual with excellent communication abilities and a keen interest in marketing.

Primary Duties:
Support the development and execution of marketing initiatives, encompassing digital, social media, email, and conventional marketing.
Generate and schedule engaging content for various social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn).
Oversee the creation of marketing collateral such as brochures, flyers, and event displays.
Regularly update and refresh the company website with new content.
Monitor and analyze the success of social media initiatives.
Assist in organizing and promoting events, both virtual and in-person.
Provide administrative support to the marketing team as required.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related discipline (or currently enrolled in such a program).
Demonstrated experience in a marketing capacity or internship.
Strong knowledge of digital marketing and social media channels.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with marketing tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Hootsuite).
Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Creative problem-solving and innovative thinking abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Google Analytics and content management systems (e.g., WordPress).
Familiarity with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp).
Basic graphic design competencies.

Work Schedule:
This is a part-time remote role, requiring approximately 20 hours per week.
