Job Summary:

The Director of Human Resources and Operations will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of HR strategies and policies that align with the organization's mission and goals. This role will oversee all aspects of HR, including recruitment, employee relations, benefits, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR and operations, with experience in a non-profit setting. They will be responsible for creating a positive and inclusive work environment, while ensuring the organization's compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify staffing needs and develop strategies to recruit and retain top talent
• Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that align with the organization's mission and goals
• Oversee all aspects of employee relations, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions
• Administer benefits and compensation programs, including health insurance, 401(k), and other perks
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including labor laws, employment laws, and safety requirements
• Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge
• Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion
• Supervise and manage the operations team, including administrative assistants, facilities managers, and vendors
• Collaborate with the executive director and leadership team to develop and implement organizational strategies
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in HR and operations

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
• 3+ years of experience in HR and operations, preferably in a non-profit setting
• Strong knowledge of HR laws and regulations, including labor laws, employment laws, and safety requirements
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups
• Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
• Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
• Fluently bilingual in Spanish and English
