Avidity Biosciences is a leading biotech company that is revolutionizing the field of RNA therapeutics. We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Director of Human Resources to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic and tactical management of the human resource programs, including workforce planning, recruitment/retention, employee relations, compensation, performance management, communication, regulatory compliance, and associated technology.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR, with a minimum of 8-10 years of experience in a similar role. They will be able to provide guidance and support to senior management and HR colleagues, and will have experience working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

The Director of Human Resources will be responsible for developing and implementing HR programs and initiatives that emphasize a performance-based culture and our company values. They will also be responsible for participating in the implementation, launch, and leverage of a new HRMS, and will have experience with HR technology platforms.

The successful candidate will be a strong communicator and will have excellent interpersonal and written, verbal, and presentation communication skills. They will be able to develop a high degree of personal credibility across client groups and will have the ability to lead and influence a business team.
