Vice President of Operations

SUMMARY
The Vice President of Operations is accountable for the effective execution and fulfillment of the strategic business plan, alongside the overall performance of the department within a division generating sales between $50-$150 million.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure compliance with procedures that safeguard the health and well-being of all personnel in the operational departments.
Assume primary responsibility for the comprehensive functioning of the department.
Champion the mission, vision, and values established by AAR to foster robust relationships with employees, clients, and stakeholders.
Oversee the successful realization of Business Plan Objectives.Guide the team to ensure that targets and objectives are achieved in the most efficient and effective manner.
Ensure that team members possess the necessary skills to perform their roles effectively, enabling the group to meet desired goals and objectives.
Facilitate the development of team members to enhance their capabilities in adapting to evolving job requirements and customer demands.
Collaborate with other Divisional Managers as necessary during the decision-making process.Perform additional duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Execute supervisory responsibilities in alignment with the organization's policies and applicable regulations.
Responsibilities encompass interviewing, hiring, and training personnel; planning, assigning, and directing work; evaluating performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing grievances and resolving issues.

QUALIFICATIONS
To successfully fulfill this role, an individual must be capable of performing each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements outlined below represent the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Master's degree (M.A.) or equivalent; or twelve years of relevant experience and/or training; or a combination of education and experience.
