About the Role
The University of Massachusetts is seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager Revenue Operations to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the revenue projections and collections within your assigned areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and implement changes to increase the efficiency of operations by reviewing reports and information from staffing.
- Direct and manage revenue programs by monitoring progress and analyzing data and reports.
- Perform supervisory functions, including hiring, corrective action, and employee performance evaluation.
- Make recommendations for priorities and program implementations.
- Develop and implement policy and procedure standards in regards to program monitoring and evaluation.
- Oversee and monitor activities of assigned units.
- Work on revenue management projects.
- Identify state programs eligible for Federal Funding.
- Provide on-the-job training and orientation for employees.
- Develop and implement procedures and guidelines to accomplish project objectives and goals.
- Review and analyze data concerning assigned projects to determine progress and effectiveness.
- Respond to inquiries from staff and others concerning assigned projects.
- Perform related duties, such as attending staff meetings, maintaining records, and preparing reports.
- Interact and represent the department on a professional level with government agencies.
- Work individually and as a team member.
- Work internally and externally to resolve discrepancies for projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Public Administration, or Business, or equivalent.
- 7 years' experience in fiscal management, finance, or public administration.
- Proven skills in financial management or operational management.
- Thorough knowledge of funding and revenue sources for health and human service programs.
- Thorough knowledge of federal and Massachusetts state regulations associated with federal entitlement and block grant programs.
- Experience with contract development and management.
- Strong management and leadership skills.
